You can help NoFunZone in a critical way! By voting on NoFunZone’s proposal to BrightDAO, you help us secure funding sooner and build faster! You’ll also earn rewards from us AND from BrightDAO for participating! To do so, you will need to obtain some $BRIGHT tokens on the Gnosis chain and then stake them on BrightDAO’s Gardens page. Luckily, once you have your $BRIGHT tokens, the rest is easy, and all on one page. Here’s how you do it:

1. Deposit $USD to Crypto Exchange - get some $USD into a reliable centralized exchange. $20 is great, $50 is fantastic, and $100 is more than enough. That said, the more you use, the more voting power you have. Here are some great options for creating your account:

   1. Coinbase

   2. Gemini

   3. Binance.us

2. Trade for $ETH - use your deposited $USD to buy some $ETH

3. Transfer to Web Wallet - withdraw the $ETH to your MetaMask address (or other web wallet address)

4. Bridge $ETH to Gnosis - the $ETH tokens in your wallet are on the Ethereum main chain. They need to be bridged to the Gnosis sidechain. This can be done using a verified bridging site. Here are some great options:

5. Add Gnosis Chain to Wallet - to see your funds in your wallet and to use them, you need to add the Gnosis chain to your wallet. Do so by clicking the network name in the top center of your MetaMask extension (it will say something like “Ethereum Mainnet”), then clicking “Add Network”. This will open a new MetaMask window with some popular custom networks as suggestions. Click “Add a network manually” and fill in the fields as follows:

   1. Network Name: Gnosis (xDAI)

   2. New RPC URL: https://rpc.gnosischain.com

   3. Chain ID: 100

   4. Currency symbol: xDAI

   5. Block explorer URL: https://gnosisscan.io/

6. Switch Network - after saving the above network settings, open your MetaMask extension again and click the network name in the top center of its UI again. You should now see “Gnosis (xDAI)” as an option. Click it! That switches your network to the Gnosis chain, which is necessary for getting $BRIGHT.

7. Open BrightDAO’s Gardens Page - go to the main page of BrightDAO on Gardens

8. Get $BRIGHT - click “Get $BRIGHT” along the top of the screen. This opens the HoneySwap exchange page, which is where you will swap your $XDAI for $BRIGHT

9. Connect Wallet - click “Connect Wallet” and confirm any signature requests from HoneySwap

10. Trade for $BRIGHT - trade most (but not all) of your $XDAI for $BRIGHT. You should save at least 1 $XDAI for paying gas fees.

11. Return to BrightDAO’s Gardens Page - return to the main page of BrightDAO on Gardens

12. Connect Wallet to BrightDAO - click “Enable Account” in the top right corner to connect your wallet. You may need to agree to some stuff and sign free transactions verifying your agreement.

13. Wrap $BRIGHT into $gBRIGHT - click “Wrap” on the right hand side of the screen to convert all your static $BRIGHT tokens into interest-earning $gBRIGHT tokens. Only $gBRIGHT can be used to support votes.

14. Open the Latest Proposal - go to the page of the latest proposal supporting No Fun Zone.

15. Support - click the “Support” button and add all of your $gBRIGHT.

16. Congrats! - well done! Not only did you add your address to the list of supporters, you put your money where your mouth is. Now it’s time to get rewarded!

17. Prove Your Work on Dework - on NoFunZone’s Community Bounty Board, navigate to the Dework task appropriate to the amount of $gBRIGHT you staked (500+, 1000+, 2000+, etc.) and do the creating your account:

    1. Assign yourself to the task

    2. Comment with the wallet address you used to vote

18. Get Points! - that’s it! YOU DID IT!!! 🥳 Congratulations, fren! Your points will be awarded shortly.
